The Awakening
The First Interfaith Forum & Community Breakfast
The Soul Sanctuary Inc.,
Saturday, October 7, 2006
Nova Southeastern University
This forum is designed to teach on the
rippling effects of domestic violence in the faith community. The
day-long event will begin with a Community Breakfast where a notable
keynote speaker will address the very secret issues facing the
marriage bed of the faith community; domestic violence.
Immediately following attendees will
be invited to participate in a riveting forum discussion on domestic
violence. A well known facilitator will question experts, educators,
and victims to get to the heart of the issue and then open the
floor for questions. The Forum will be an educational awakening
on domestic violence, empowering attendees to gain knowledge and
to embrace faith in an effort to overcome the adversities associated
with domestic violence.
Through The Forum's frank discussion,
attendees will be challenged to leave with a different state of
mind; to be an active participant of life, making sound decisions
and ultimately living the Zoë abundant life God has given
us.
