Mission

The mission of Promote Truth is to provide support and information about sexual violence issues 
for teens and their communities.

History

Promote Truth was created by the Rape Recovery Team at the Women’s Center of Jacksonville 
in Florida. The project developed from our desire to help teens become informed about sexual violence. Whether you have been a victim of sexual violence yourself, know someone who has, 
or are just curious about what you can do to help, it is our hope that this website helps YOU to become empowered and more aware!

Services

The Promote Truth website was created to provide up-to-date and accurate information about sexual violence issues to teens. Teens can view information on-line or leave an anonymous message that will be responded to by a trained and compassionate advocate within 2 business days.
